REPRESENTATIVE NETBALL

The Albury Netball Association provides selected participants with an environment to develop their netball skills and participate in regional carnivals representing Albury Netball.  Our Rep program is a recognized pathway leading into Netball Victoria pathways. We have a proud and successful history with an emphasis on player development combined with the enjoyment of the game we love.  

We are currently seeking registration from interested players wishing to participate in selection trials for our 2026 program.

 

REGISTRATIONS FOR 2026 SQUAD TRIALS ARE NOW BEING TAKEN FOR ATHLETES:

11/U (BORN 2015-2016)

13/U (BORN 2013-2014)

15/U (BORN 2011-2012)

17/U (BORN 2009-2010)

 

The ‘Born Dates’ are 1st Jan to 31st Dec and reflects age as at 31/12/2026.

Please note that there is a $20 registration fee applicable at time of registration - this fee is non refundable for change of mind or non attendance. Payment is required to secure trial placement.

TRIAL DATES:

Confirmation emails will be sent prior to the trials. 

TRIAL DATES: Attendance to all scheduled sessions preferred - if injured please send email to notify of injury and expected return to play repnetball.ana@gmail.com

  • Players who have participated in REP 2025 – are NOT required to attend the first trial

  • ALL players intending to trial for 17’s ARE required to attend both scheduled trials. The FIRST Trial is for players WHO DID NOT PLAY IN SELECTED REP IN 2025.

  • Selected Training Partners from 2025 - intending to trial should attend Trial 1.

 

11U – 

  • Trial 1 – 13/10 - 5.00pm – 6.30pm (SKILL SESSION) - this trial for NEW to REP players only

  • Trial 2 – 20/10 - 5.00pm – 6.30pm (MATCH PLAY SESSION) ALL participants required (Progression to Final Trial 3 by invitation)

  • Trial 3 –27/10 -  5.00pm – 6.30pm (FINAL SELECTION – MATCH PLAY)

 

13U – 

  • Trial 1 – 14/10 - 5.00pm – 6.30pm (SKILL SESSION) - this trial for NEW to REP players only

  • Trial 2 – 16/10 - 5.00pm – 6.30pm (MATCH PLAY SESSION) ALL participants required (Progression to Final Trial 3 by invitation)

  • Trial 3 – 19/10 - 10.00am – 12noon (FINAL SELECTION – MATCH PLAY)

 

15U – 

  • Trial 1 – 28/10 - 5.00pm – 6.30pm (SKILL SESSION) - this trial for NEW to REP players only

  • Trial 2 – 30/10 - 5.00pm – 6.30pm (MATCH PLAY SESSION) ALL participants required (Progression to Final Trial 3 by invitation)

  • Trial 3 – 2/11 - 10.00am – 12noon (FINAL SELECTION – MATCH PLAY)

 

17U – 

  • Trial 1 – 22/10 - 5.00pm – 6.30pm (MATCH PLAY SESSION) ALL participants required

  • Trial 2 – 29/10 - 5.00pm – 6.30pm (MATCH PLAY SESSION) ALL participants required (Progression to Final Trial 3 by invitation)

  • Trial 3 – If required - TO BE CONFIRMED

Dates to Note: Please consider the following dates - as if selected, the expectation is that you are available and able to participate in all competitions.

  • 29th March 2026 - Albury

  • 19th April 2026 - Wangaratta

  • 3rd May 2026 - Wodonga

  • 17th May 2026 - Shepparton OR Wagga TBC

  • ASSOC CHAMPS tbc potentially 24/5/24 or 31/5 or 7/6 - (13's, 15's, 17's only)

  • North East Carnival - 31/5 OR 7/6 - (11GOLD / Blue and 13Green) - DEPENDENT ON ASSOC CHAMPS

 (FINALS DAY 21/6 in MELB if successful in qualifying at Assoc Champs - 13's,15's17's only) TBC

 

Participating in representative netball requires a large amount of commitment from the player and family. Rep season commences with training in late January, with tournaments scheduled through April – Jun/July. 

 

If accepted for the Representative team, you will be required to: 

  • Attend up to 6 Sunday Carnivals throughout the region (including Association Champs and Finals Day). 

  • Commitment for 11/U is up to 4 Sunday Carnivals.

  • Commit to playing Monday night in the Autumn Comp, Feb - June (Not applicable to 11/U)

  • Weekly training sessions for the season.

  • If successfully accepted to the Rep program, The Parent/Guardian (and Player) acknowledges the required participation commitment and the Parent / Guardian acknowledges responsibility for costs associated such as ANA Rep Fees, Uniforms, Netball Victoria player registration Fees and comp fees.

 

Please consider the requirements and dates advised - we have over 200 girls register each year and it is very disappointing to not select girls and then be placed in a position to bring in fill in players due to 'unavailability'. 

 

An email reminder and confirmation of trial dates will be sent to registered participants on the 10th of October prior to scheduled trials. CHECK your JUNK MAIL.

An enormous amount of time and effort goes into planning and running these trials - if you are not going to trial for any reason, we courteously request that you please advise so that we can adjust our running sheets accordingly
